Massive mining multinational Rio Tinto holds its 2023 London AGM (shareholders’ meeting) on Thursday 6 April.
The day before, London Mining Network and friends are holding two public events:
- A Mock Trial of Rio Tinto for its human rights and ecological impacts – 1.00 to 1.30pm on the public pavement outside the company’s offices in St James’s Square, London SW1
- A public meeting at Amnesty International UK’s Human Rights Action Centre, New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EA, 6.00-8.30pm, where we will hear testimony from Madagascar, Serbia and the USA
